A little Praise...and not

What can I say? These really lift my spirits.

"What I really like about Belly Mapping is that it empowers the mother." - Rae Davies, The Birth Company

My Best Birth asks, "Have you seen this website? Spinning Babies"

"Its such a huge service you're providing for parents." Jeanne Ohm, Chiropractor and Instructor

"You are so darn smart! And you approach these positional problems (and everything else in your life) with such an openness and freedom from the constraints of mainstream thought that you are a true original thinker.  And, of course, as a midwife, you have the opportunity to examine your ideas and respond holistically to the situations that you encounter.

I hope you can make your fine website a little more user-friendly. It’s a great place to learn.

Thanks for existing!"

"Thanks for your website.  For moms like me who really have problems with fetal positioning, it's so helpful.  I felt so helpless when my first turned at the end of my pregnancy.  My doctor at the time, a different one than I have now, told me there was nothing I could do.  So sad.  But anyway, thanks again for all your help.  I really appreciate it." -- pregnant woman in California hoping to avoid a breech position at birth

http://www.spinningbabies.com/ is an invaluable source of information on optimal fetal positioning. - from BEC replying to a mom at au.answers.Yahoo

"I have enjoyed the website.  I found it on my own and later the midwives recommended it. I donated last weekend." - J. E., 36 weeks pregnant

"I found that website so unhelpful and confusing when Ava was breech, I tried to understand it 4 times but gave up!" and "I don't really understand it either but thanks anyway xxx" Both from Baby and Bump forum

"My LO was breech until 36+3. I had been trying various positions to encourage baby to turn for weeks. I really thought I was out of time. Then I tried the spinning babies website, their one position of lying down the stairs head first worked for me and turned the baby. It's quite difficult to get into position and I did need help from DH.

Baby is still back to back but at least is head down. Maybe it would work for you? I was very sceptical (sic) but was willing to try anything to get babies head from under my ribcage..." found at http://community.babycentre.co.uk/post/a5321685/breech_baby

You know I love great, unique, visual aids!  Well, if you don't know about Gail Tully - it is time you learned  - Teri Shilling,  Passion for Birth

"Thanks so much for all of this information!  I'm continuing to digest it all and will definitely let you know what comes of all of our efforts.  If nothing else, I have a lot more information and questions to discuss with my care provider this week in regards to determining what we might actually be dealing with.  Regardless of how we end up bringing this little one into the world, I know that I will feel more empowered this time around simply for the fact that I have further information and education to make the choices instead of having them made for me.  Your website has been a wonderful resource throughout both of my pregnancies!" -- Staci

"I recommend Spinning Babies for mothers almost daily for breech babies. You are a fabulous asset to the birth community .... "

I didn't know there was such a story behind the website.  It really is looking great and several of the families I have helped recently have appreciated your info as well as the gentle and respectful way in which you offer it.  Thank you once more for the gifts you bring to our community! - Vanessa Stephens Coldwater, Midwife, Waterbirth Resources, Minneapolis

"I just wanted to say thank you for setting up the Spinning Babies website and the wonderful information that's contained within it.

I am currently 12 weeks pregnant with baby number 3 and having had two posterior births already...[M]y first baby...was born by c-section. But ... the second baby, ... was born naturally, ...for number 3, provided he's not too big at least I know he can fit through the pelvis even widest part of head to smallest part of pelvis!!      ...
I have really taken heed of what you say about symmetry and ligament tension.  In fact I saw my osteopath this morning and at 12 weeks there was already torsion in the pelvis (which had not been there before). However, I find this encouraging because I finally feel I understand what happens in my labours and that I can do something constructive about this (as much as I can including following Dr Gowri Motha's method).

Prior to finding your website I felt there was something missing in my understanding since people were only able to offer suggestions for turning OP babies prior to labour! Now I know that the problem exists prior to pregnancy(/ligament relaxation)! " -- EC, UK

From Nancy's Park, blog:  "Another one of the things I did in my pregnancy that I think helped me have a wonderful birth was to use the information I found on Spinning Babies. In particular, I learned how to do inversions from the video above and practiced them daily in the last couple of weeks.

I just found this wonderful blog by Spinning Babies too!"

I just went through the spinning babies site and it is amazing. I did not know you can do so much about the position of the baby. -http://www.tcoyf.com/forums/t/43444.aspx
